Big PS3 Surprise Coming Next Wednesday?
by Mark Renton
Next Wednesday, PS3 gamers may hear an announcement that could very well blow their minds.
On the other hand, it could be much ado about nothing.
Capcom has been flogged mercilessly ever since they announced that Monster Hunter 3 was dumping PlayStation 3 in order to go with Wii, the console of the moment.
But Christian Svensson, Sr. director of Strategic Planning & Research, has teased on the company's website that there will be something revealed that will convert angry gamers back to the publisher. When a forum poster wrote "Capcom is losing fans. They obviously don't care for their PS3 owner fans," his cryptic response was:
"Let's see how they feel at the end of next week about us."
To add fuel to the fire, the official CAPCOMunity site now has a countdown clock that is ticking down with less than five days to go with two words: "PREPARE YOURSELF."
Don't worry: When we know, you'll know.
