PS3 Scoops Xbox 360 With Eternal Sonata Exclusive Content
by Mark Renton
Last week Famitsu revealed that PS3 will be getting a port of Eternal Sonata, a Namco Bandai title originally announced for the Xbox 360. But instead of a straight up port, it appears the PlayStation 3 version is going to trump the original.
According to IGN, both are going to look the same, but the PS3 one will have some nifty bonus features that help "give players a deeper understanding of the story line."
Additionally, while the characters Crescendo and Serenade have a major role in the Xbox 360 ES, they are not playable. But Sony gamers will be able to play the heck out of both of 'em.
Crescendo will bring on the pain using a mace and shield. Serenade, the girlie girl, uses a heart-shaped staff. Also in the works are an increase in costume variations and a system for some quick changes.
