PS3 News accused of painful octopus-related wordplay
Stormregion and 10Tacle Studios jointly announced their intentions today to make Codename: Panzers for the PS3. That sound you just heard were thousands of Playstation 3 devotees applauding in unison. Also coming along for the ride will be games for the PSP, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS.
“We are very excited about the creative possibilities that the next generation console titles can offer gamers and the new directions it opens up for the Codename Panzers brand. We are proud to expand the brand with our partner 10TACLE STUDIOS,” commented Tamás Szerémy, CEO of Stormregion Ltd.
“We feel that with the experienced Stormregion team we have found the right partner to try out something new in the context of strategy games and set new quality standards. At the same time, the expansion of the brand “Codename Panzers“ to different platforms is in line with the company strategy to build up our brands internationally and make them last”, Michele Pes, CEO of 10TACLE STUDIOS AG, explains the strategic approach of the collaboration.
On a totally unrelated note, when I was captain of the high school dodgeball team, all the other teams referred to us as Codename: Pansies. Needless to say, there no dodgeball trophies on my mantle.
