PS3 Used HDMI At GDC After All?
HotHardware.com photos appear to contradict earlier reports saying nay

According to Sean Pelletier of HotHardware.com, Sony was indeed using HDMI for display connectivity on some Playstation 3s at the recent Game Developers Conference. Pelletier explained that he physically saw HDMI in use to ps3blog.net:
You can see the rest of the photos here.I’ve just posted a series of images taken on the showroom floor at GDC which clearly illustrates the fact that Sony did use HDMI connectivity for some SDK’s in the demo area. In addition, I also saw the standard Sony Multi A/V connector in use as well as an older SDK using S-Video from a standard NVIDIA graphics card.
Perhaps it's time to start saving up for a television that can handle 1080p after all. Since the launch date keeps getting pushed back, there's certainly time to periodicly sell enough of one's bodily fluids to finance both a top of the line HDTV and a PS3.
